FAQs & House Rules

Everything you'd ask on Messenger

We put the whole FAQ here so your booking chat takes two minutes, not two days.

Is the resort really exclusive to our group?

Yes — Villa Kanlungan is a private resort, so your booking covers the entire property. One group at a time, no walk-ins, no strangers sharing the pool. Our caretaker stays near the gate if you need anything.

Is the pool really hot spring water?

Yes. Pansol sits at the foot of Mt. Makiling, and our pool is fed by the same natural hot springs the town is famous for. The water comes out genuinely warm — not heater-warmed — and we adjust the temperature by mixing in fresh water before you arrive. Tell us if you want it extra mainit.

Can we bring our own food and drinks? Is there corkage?

Bring everything — food, drinks, lechon, the works. There is no corkage fee. You get a charcoal grill and a full kitchen with a fridge, stove, and cookware. There's also a sari-sari store and a bakery a short walk from the gate for anything you forgot.

Are pets allowed?

Yes, we're pet-friendly! Keep your pets leashed in common areas, clean up after them, and please keep them out of the pools.

How many cars can we bring?

The gated parking fits 6 cars. For bigger groups, additional vehicles can park along the street outside — coordinate with our caretaker and he'll help you settle in.

How do we book and pay?

Send your date via the inquiry form or Messenger. Once we confirm availability, secure your booking with a 50% down payment via GCash, Maya, or BPI transfer. The balance is paid in cash at check-in, plus a refundable ₱2,000 security deposit that we return after a quick inspection at checkout.

Can we check in early?

If there's no group before you, yes — message us on the morning of your visit and we can usually let you in up to an hour early for free. During peak weekends we'll do our best, but we can't promise until the previous group checks out.

What's nearby?

You're 5 minutes from the Pansol arch. A sari-sari store and bakery are a short walk from the gate. Calamba Doctors' Hospital is about 10 minutes away, St. John the Baptist Parish Church about 15, and SM Calamba about 20 minutes by car. There's a 7-Eleven on Chipeco Avenue on your way in.
