Amenities

Everything a handaan needs

From the hot-spring pool to the videoke — here's what's waiting inside the gate.

  • Hot-spring main pool

Fed by Pansol's natural hot springs — we adjust the temperature by mixing spring and fresh water before you arrive.

  • Kiddie pool with mini slide

A shallow, gently warm pool where the little ones can stay for hours — the mini slide is the first thing kids run to.

  • 3 air-conditioned rooms

Three aircon rooms that sleep 15 in beds — everyone else claims a spot in the kubo after the videoke winds down.

  • Open-air kubo & dining pavilion

The heart of every handaan — a roofed pavilion with long tables that seats your whole group out of the sun (or the rain).

  • Videoke until 10 PM

A full videoke setup with the classic songbook — barangay ordinance asks us to stop at 10 PM, so schedule your showdown early.

  • Billiards

A standard billiard table under the pavilion — cues, chalk, and a full rack included, tournament brackets optional.

  • Charcoal grill & full kitchen

Charcoal grill plus a working kitchen — fridge, two-burner stove, and cookware — so you only need to bring the food and the ice.

  • Gated parking for 6 cars

Park inside the gate — up to six cars fit comfortably, and the street outside handles overflow for bigger groups.

  • Pet-friendly

Your furbabies are welcome — keep them leashed in common areas and please clean up after them.

  • CCTV at the entrance

The gate and parking area are covered by CCTV, so your vehicles and belongings are monitored throughout your stay.

  • Free WiFi

Fiber WiFi covers the pavilion and rooms — enough for video calls, music streaming, and posting your cannonball videos.

Around the resort

Steam rising off naturally warm spring water surrounded by trees

The water is the whole point

Pansol is called the hot spring capital of the Philippines for a reason: the barangay sits right at the foot of Mt. Makiling, and warm mineral water rises out of the ground here year-round. Our pool draws from that same source — no heaters, no gimmicks. That's why regulars book night tours: when the evening air cools down, the pool stays warm, and the steam rising off the water is the best part of the trip.

What groups say after checkout

  • “The pool is genuinely hot-spring warm, hindi yung pinainit lang. The kids didn't leave the kiddie slide, the titas didn't leave the videoke. We already rebooked for our December reunion.”

  • “Booked the night tour for my birthday. Swimming at 2 AM with steam rising off the water — iba talaga ang Pansol. Bring a jacket for the kubo and OFF lotion, but grabe, worth it. Kuya caretaker was super accommodating.”

  • “Booking was smooth — quote within the hour, GCash deposit, done. The kubo fit all 35 of us for meals and the billiards bracket got competitive. Just bring your own projector if you need one for presentations.”

FAQs

The questions everyone asks first

Is the resort really exclusive to our group?

Yes — Villa Kanlungan is a private resort, so your booking covers the entire property. One group at a time, no walk-ins, no strangers sharing the pool. Our caretaker stays near the gate if you need anything.

Is the pool really hot spring water?

Yes. Pansol sits at the foot of Mt. Makiling, and our pool is fed by the same natural hot springs the town is famous for. The water comes out genuinely warm — not heater-warmed — and we adjust the temperature by mixing in fresh water before you arrive. Tell us if you want it extra mainit.

Can we bring our own food and drinks? Is there corkage?

Bring everything — food, drinks, lechon, the works. There is no corkage fee. You get a charcoal grill and a full kitchen with a fridge, stove, and cookware. There's also a sari-sari store and a bakery a short walk from the gate for anything you forgot.

Are pets allowed?

Yes, we're pet-friendly! Keep your pets leashed in common areas, clean up after them, and please keep them out of the pools.
